Pleasant Hearth 1/2-inch steel grate with ember retainer

Description

A mesh ember retainer set across the bars is what this grate adds. It holds burning embers close under the logs instead of letting them fall away, while solid steel bars 1/2 inch thick lift the wood so air can reach it.

Widths run 18, 24, 27 and 30 inches, all 7 inches tall and assembled out of the box. The 18 has 4 bars and an 11 inch depth. Larger sizes sit 12 inches deep, with 5 bars on the 24 and 27 and 6 on the 30. Measure the narrowest point of your firebox floor first, often the back wall.
