Rack length against the size of your woodpile
Rack length follows the size of your woodpile. The 32mm heavy-duty rack comes in 4 and 8 feet and in an adjustable version, and the 38mm premium rack in 4, 8 and 12 feet of tubular steel. A 4-foot rack of either build holds up to a quarter cord, and both are made for outdoor use only.
The cover fits an 8-foot rack, with a weather-resistant liner and a hook-and-loop closure. With the set of four brackets, your own 2x4 boards become a rack of whatever length you cut, though the brackets do not fit pressure-treated lumber. Either way, the stack stays outdoors and off the ground, as EPA advises for firewood.
