Description

Hudson sets a 30-inch fire bowl into a 34-inch square frame of black steel with open slatted sides. Adjustable floor levelers even it out on an uneven patio. In the box are a mesh spark cover, a poker, a chrome-plated cooking grid and a weather-resistant cover for the weeks it sits unused.

Levelers fix a tilt in your patio, but the base still has to be one that cannot burn, such as concrete, brick or patio blocks. Keep it 10 feet from the house and anything combustible. Children and pets stay well back while it burns, and the weather cover goes on only once the fire is out and cold.

Use a fire pit outdoors only, at least 10 feet from anything that can burn, on a level surface that will not catch fire such as patio blocks, brick or concrete, and away from siding, decks, eaves and overhanging branches. Keep children and pets at least three feet away, use a fire pit screen, burn only clean, dry, seasoned hardwood in a wood-burning pit, and never use gasoline or other flammable liquids on the fire. Check local rules and permits first, avoid burning on windy, dry days, and put cooled ashes in a metal container with a tight-fitting lid. Read September 26, 2026.
