Our gas stoves and the Pewter Oak and Platinum Oak fireplace systems are vent-free: they burn natural gas or propane and release their combustion products into the room. The compact stove is rated at 20,000 BTU, the 32-inch stove at 30,000 and each fireplace system at 26,000. EPA does not support unvented gas stoves because of indoor air quality, and some jurisdictions make installing one illegal. CPSC says never to run one in a room where people sleep. Talk to your building department and a certified technician before you buy.

Our zero-clearance fireboxes are factory-built boxes made for tight spaces and ready to pair with a mantel. The 42-inch radiant firebox is a vent-free box with a matte black interior. At 32 inches, the circulating firebox has a decorative brick liner instead, and both come with a draw screen and a hood. The Henley electric fireplace needs no venting and no gas line: a 28-inch LED firebox in a mocha mantel, with a flame that runs with or without the heater.
