Description
Lockwood tops a 28-inch matte black base with a black glass surface that reflects the flame, and floor levelers square it up on an uneven patio. It runs up to 30,000 BTU, below our other gas tables, with piezo ignition and a variable flame over blue glass rocks. A stainless steel burner sits inside, and a hinged door holds the 20-pound tank you supply.
Propane is still an open flame, so handle Lockwood like any fire pit. Keep it outdoors, on a level surface that will not burn, 10 feet from anything that can and away from decks and eaves. Ask your town whether outdoor fires need a permit before the first evening out.
